1. Professor Gert van der Heijden. University College London, UK
( Keynote lecture: Time as an Imperfection: What Do We Know about the Effect of Dynamics on Buckling? )

Gert van der Heijden is a professor and the Honorary Senior Research Fellow of Nonlinear Dynamics, Dept of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering, University College London, London WC1E 6BT, UK. He is a member of the Editorial Board for International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics since 2007. He also is the guest editor of 3 special journal issues, two for Nonlinear Dynamics and one for International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics. He also was a panel member for the Royal Society’s 2011, 2012 and 2013 Newton International Fellowship scheme (Engineering Panel). He published about 90 peer-reviewed publications. 2. Professor Li-Qun Chen, Harbin Institute of Technology, China
( Keynote lecture: Energy Harvesting Enhanced by Double-jumping: An L-shaped. )

Li-Qun Chen began his university faculty career in Liaoning University of Science and Technology after receiving his B Sc degree there in 1984. After he obtained his Ph D degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1997, he worked as a postdoc in Shanghai University. Since 1999, he serves as a full professor there. In 2017, Professor Li-Qun Chen joined Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen). He is an internationally recognized researcher in the field of axially moving structures. He is recently interested in vibratory energy harvesting, vibration reductions, and vibration isolations. He is one of Most Cited Chinese Researchers since 2014. His honors and awards include National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund of China (2007), Changjiang Distinguished Professor (2008), and National Award of Natural Science (2017). He served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Acta Mechanica Sinica, and Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (English Edition), and Associate Editor of Nonlinear Dynamics.


3. Professor Lizhong Jiang. Central South University, China
( Keynote lecture:The seismic design and safety control of high-speed railway track-bridge system based on train safety traveling performance. )

Lizhong Jiang, Changjiang Distinguished Professor, He received his PhD in General Mechanics and Mechanical Foundation from Shanghai Jiaotong University in July 1999 and has been working at Central South University since 1999. Over these years, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific research of structural engineering and engineering mechanics. He has presided over one sub-item of the 863 National Plan, four projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, one project of the Excellent Talents Foundation of the Ministry of Education in the New Century, six major scientific and technological projects of the Ministry of Railways, one project of the Outstanding Youth Fund of Hunan Province and two projects of the Natural Science Foundation. He has completed 2 key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and more than 80 other scientific research projects. Among them, seven scientific research achievements have passed the appraisal, all of which have reached the international advanced level, won two "National Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress", four "First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Hunan Province", one "First Prize for Invention in Hunan Province", one "Second Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress nominated by the Ministry of Education", one in 2005, Mao Yisheng Special Prize for Youth Scientific Research, and the Supporting Plan for Excellent Talents in the New Century by the Ministry of Education in 2006. In 2007, he was awarded the Zhan Tianyou Youth Research Achievement Award. In 2011, he was awarded the second scientific and technological leader of Hunan Province. He published one monograph, and more than 160 research papers with high level.

4. Professor Stefano Lenci, Polytechnic University of Marche, Italy

( Keynote lecture: On the Interesting Behaviour of a Beam with an Inclined Roller. )

Stefano Lenci is a  full professor, Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM), Ancona. He is also the president of the Italian Association for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (Aimeta). He is active in editorial activity and is the associate editior of more than ten international journals, such as Nonlinear Dynamics, Int. J. Non-linear Mechanics, European Journal of Mechans A/Solids, ASME J. Vibration and Acoustics, ASME J. Computational and Nonlinear Dynamics, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, etc. He was the guest editor of many Journal Special Issues. He published more than 40 peer-reviewed publications in last four years. 5. Professor Walter Lacarbonara, SAPIENZA University of Rome, Italy

( Keynote lecture: Flutter Control of Long-span Bridges. )

Walter Lacarbonara is a Professor of Nonlinear Dynamics at Sapienza University. During his graduate education he was awarded a MS in Structural Engineering (Sapienza University) and a MS in Engineering Mechanics (Virginia Tech, USA), and a PhD in Nonlinear Structural Dynamics. His research interests cover nonlinear structural dynamics; asymptotic techniques; nonlinear control of vibrations; experimental nonlinear dynamics; dynamic stability of structures (suspension/arch bridges, aircraft wings, magnetically levitated rotating rings); modeling and dynamics of macro and nanocomposites. He is Editor in Chief of Nonlinear Dynamics, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Aeronautical and Space Sciences. He is currently serving as Chair of the ASME Technical Committee on Multibody System and Nonlinear Dynamics. He served as general co-Chair and technical program co-Chair  of the ASME 2015 (Boston, USA) and 2013 (Portland, USA) IDETC Conferences. He has organized over 10 international symposia/conference sessions and, very recently, the First International Nonlinear Dynamics Conference (NODYCON2019, Rome, Italy).
 His research is supported by national and international sources (EOARD/AFOSR, NSF, European Commission, Italian Ministry of Science and Education). He has published over 240 papers and conference proceedings, 3 patents, 10 book chapters, and a Springer book  (Nonlinear Structural Mechanics. Theory, dynamical phenomena and modeling) for which he received the 2013 Texty Award nomination by Springer US.


6. Professor Weidong Zhu, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, USA

( Keynote lecture: Dynamics of Continuous Media: from Time-varying and Nonlinear Systems to Flexible Multibody Systems. )

WEIDONG ZHU is Full Professor with Tenure, Mechanical Engineering, University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2007. He got his Dual B.S. in Shanghai Jiao Tong University and M.S. in Arizona State University and Ph.D. in University of California at Berkeley. He is a fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He was the ChangJiang Scholar Chair Professorship in General Mechanics (i.e., Dynamics and Vibration) at the Harbin Institute of Technology,Awarded by the Ministry of Education in China. Prof.Zhu also was an associate editor of ASME Journal of Vibration and Acoustics. Now, He is the editor of Journal of Sound and Vibration. He has completed more than 60 scientific research projects from goverment and enterprises and published more than 120 peer-viewed journal articles.


7. Professor Zhengqing Chen, Academician of CAE, Hunan University, China

( Keynote lecture: Historical Development and Challenges in Aeroelastic Flutter of Long-span Bridges. )

Prof. Zhengqing Chen is a renowned expert in bridge engineering and engineering mechanics, and he is a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering. Prof. Chen obtained his bachelor degree and master degree in solid mechanics from Hunan University in 1981 and 1984 respectively, and his PhD degree in applied mechanics from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1987. Before joining in Hunan University in 2002, he worked in College of Civil and Architecture Engineering at Central South University, where he had been served as a professor, the Dean of College of Civil Engineering and the Director of Graduate Studies. Currently, he is a professor in Department of Bridge Engineering and the Founding Director of Wind Engineering Research Center at Hunan University. He was elected as a member of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2015. Prof Chen has been involved in many researches on engineering mechanics problems related to civil engineering structures with emphasis on long and flexible bridges. He is a pioneer in analysis of nonlinear behaviors of cable-supported bridges in mainland China, and his development has been applied to nonlinear-based design of the first several modern suspension bridges built in China. He also made significant contribution to wind engineering in both theoretical and experimental aspects. He developed vibration control technologies of MR dampers and eddy current dampers which have been the first to apply in civil engineering worldwide. His research outcomes have been applied in a number of engineering structures. Particularly his research on the eddy current damping has supplied a general technology for civil and mechanical engineering. He has published over 150 papers in national and international journals. He was awarded the State Science and Technology Progress Award of China three times.
